Frequently Asked Questions

Counselling is a process of understanding and process our difficulties to aid change and relieve our distress. It uses a confidential space with a trained professional to help guide us through the difficult situations in life. It is not an advice service but aims to help you make your own decisions.

Each session costs £60 and lasts for around 50 minutes. There is no charge for an initial consultation to explore your goals and determine if I am the right counsellor for you.

I currently accept bank transfers and card payments via Stripe before the session as all sessions take place online. I also accept advance payments if you wish to book multiple sessions.

It is important that we can work together and if you feel that my approach doesn’t suit you at the end of the free initial consultation, you have no obligation to return. If I feel that you may be better supported by another therapist with more experience in that area, we can discuss that and refer you on if you wish.

The initial consultation aims to discuss your difficulties and goals of therapy to help us determine whether my service can help and if so, how we plan to go ahead. We can discuss the logistics of your sessions, how often you’d like to attend and if you have a number of sessions in mind, and there will also be plenty of time for you to ask any questions you may have.

Visit my contact page and make an enquiry outlining the current issues you wish to discuss and I will get back to you as soon as possible to arrange our first meeting. Alternatively, drop me an email or a text and I’ll get back to you as soon as I can.
